Hornady .308 180gr SP INTERLOCK?
Hi, just got back from the sporting goods store, purchased some more Varget gun powder & primers.
Any how, went there to purchased 168gr & 175gr bullets, while there noticed the Hornady 180gr SP INTERLOCK bullets on sale, so I picked up a few boxes of them as well. Im looking to use 45.0gr (C) of Varget, fps is 2661, thought this ammo would be good plinking or hunting ammo, using CCI match primers. Has anyone here tried this 180gr SP INTERLOCK bullets? What loads do you suggest? Input, be much appreciated. TG

I haven't tried Varget with the 180 Interlock, but I have loaded them over 47.0 of IMR 4064 in RP brass for my 742. I shot 7 deer with 7 shots and the only one to move after the shot went about 50 feet. All of them were DRT. Very good performance recommendation for me. I have 8 rounds left, and no doubt there will be venison for dinner this October. CB.
