Google search it, or Amazon, or any other website that deals in holsters.

Try your local gun shops and gun big box stores like Cabela's and Gander

Holsters...
For pocket rockets Id look at the top rated Super Fly or the Nemnesis from DeSantis. I bought a pocket holster for my Taurus Protector snub in 2004 & it worked well.
Some gun owners like the Mika or rigs from Galco or Ken Null. CF www.natchezss.com www.usgalco.com www.policehq.com www.midwayusa.com www.uscav.com www.glockstore.com |

Concealed Weapons and Holsters
While we are talking about ccw holsters I am looking at a alien gear hybrid holster I was wondering how comfortable it is to sit with. It is a iwb and will be on my right side almost to my back carrying a c9 for now. Sorry for jacking your thread.

To the OP: there are a million great pocket holster options online, but I'd suggest your brother go to his local gun shop so he can try before he buys. Make sure he brings his pistol just in case the shop doesn't have one like it to try. Many shops are fine if you bring in your gun, just have it unloaded in a case and give the case to an employee so he can open it and take the gun out and clear it himself.

I have always wanted to pocket carry my J-Frame but I just can't seem to get pocket holsters to work. The few I've tried either don't seat right in my pocket or drawing from them requires more thought than other on-body methods. The holsters I've tried really want to stay on the gun instead of in the pocket. I've considered learning to sew so that I can experiment with holster anchors of some kind in the pockets of my pants. Anyone else try that?
(Does that qualify as a hijack?) |

I pocket carry one of two J frames in an el cheapo Blackhawk! holster I bought at Wal-Mart.
In a pinch, I have slipped just the gun in my pocket without a holster. The important thing is to not have ANYTHING else in that pocket. It really is the easiest way to carry most of the time. I said MOST of the time... FWIW, I have also, on occasion, carried both an SP101 and one of said J frames IWB without a holster. Strong side, butt forward wedged betwixt the curve of my hip and my belt. Not the most secure, but it held. Even mentioned in "The Concealed Handgun Manual" by Chris Bird, specifically about the Ruger. Did it once or twice with a Beretta 92FS I used to own when the alarm at my old job went off... It's a pretty popular gun, I've seen holsters for it any many gun shops, fleet farm, etc. If you have a favorite you like to give your business, they'll probably have something. Otherwise the best prices are often found online.

there are so many pocket rigs out there.... check the SEECAMP forums, they have master holster makers participating in the forum there.

Try Fobus
Try the fobus range, I really rate them. Ebay has some good ones about, you would think they would have a concealed holster for that pistol. They suit just about everything else.

I have come to like Sticky holsters for pocket use, mostly because they are also designed to be used IWB. I like the versatility, and they work for me.

Uncle Mikes makes a more generic version and it works just as well.
