Need Opinion on S&W Mod 1000 from early 70s.

I saw one in a local store, it's mint without even a stock ding. The prop. wants $275.

Need opinions, my shotgun savy is confined to OO-Buck shooting point- blank, trench gun types we carried in our gun boxes when in S.O.

I have one M590 for a hurricane gun.

Thanks.

Pave, they were good guns - the only thing I would fret about would be repair parts. Unless GPC has stuff in stock, you would have a neat club if anything breaks.
