AR Mag Pouches (20 and 30 Round)

Ever since my spine started malfunctioning a few years back I've had to start carrying my mags seperately from my rangebag. That huge bag is just too dang heavy with a bunch of loaded magazines in it.

I've rigged up bandoliers of mag pouches for all my frequent-use rifles. That way I can just sling them over my shoulder when I hike to the firing line. It has worked out pretty well. Now that I have an AR that I like and will be shooting often, I need one for it too.

What kind of pouches do y'all like for AR mags?

There seem to be a lot of choices for 30 rounders, but I haven't seen any for the 20s. If somebody could point me toward a decent 20-round mag pouch, that would be awesome.

I cant recommend specific pouches for them.

But the Magpul Ranger Plates come in handy on my 20 rnd PMAG's and USGI's.They help alot for getting them out of the pouches designed for 30's on my Eagle chest rig and my soft case.

These two sites have bandoleer type gear,
including gear for 20rd ar15 magazines.
I haven't tried them, myself.

michigantacticalsupply.com
ologopooutfitters.com

Hope that helps.

OP tactical .... they offer like everything.. On my kit i Like to have atleast one 3 open mag holders and then one or two velcro flapped triple mag holders depending on what im doing...

For a civilian range, either a bandoleer (sp) or maybe looping a mag pouch to your belt would work best

Does anyone have a link to a site that sells 20 round pouches that they have actually bought something from before?

I don't give my credit card # to unknown sellers anymore. Too many banditos out there, I only buy from known companies with a good reputation.

Call your credit card company. Thy should be able to fix you
up with a one time use number that would be valid for one
transaction. I know discovercard has it and it also carries
fraud insurance or you can use it through paypal.
