Which spotting scope?

I currently have a Bushnell 20x50, but it's really no good for 100 yds. Maybe it's just my eyesight, but either way I need a better spotting scope. Need to keep it as far under $100 as possible. What scopes should I be looking at?

Do a search for an earlier thread "Any good spotting scopes under $100". It may help answer your question.

I've upped my limit to over $100, but still not a fortune.

i like the Orion Arcadia...

its got a 20-60 power ocular and a 78mm objective to allow lots of light in...

you STILL may not see .22 holes at 100yd because of the lack of light shining through from the backside of the target and or mirage...

I just bought a Bushnell 20x50 today, its probably 20 years old though but it looks brand new. I coulld easily read license plates in excess of 300 yrds from inside the garage and overcast skies, if thats any consolation. Good Luck
