Help with old inherited pistol
I recently was passed down an old gun that was my paps. I had always thought he got it from WW2 but it Im not so sure. I did research it to be a Frommer and is likely pre WW1. Any info would be great. I have other pics of the internals, sadly no clip.

Some early semi autos made around the 1890 to 1910 time frame had no box magazine because they were loaded with stripper clips from the top. Is there a top guide slot? C&R arsenal on youtube has a series of videos featuring early handguns and rifles. They might be interested in studying your gun as a very rare example of an early auto and producing a video.
https://www.candrsenal.com/ NRA has an article on the topic that may be of interest. https://www.americanrifleman.org/con...-19th-century/ |

Frommer
Your pistol is a Frommer 1910 chambered in 7.65 Frommer.
It is missing its detachable magazine. |

Very nice sir. I wonder if Brownells, Numrich, or Old Western Scrounger might have a magazine for that.
