COAL for .204 nosler ballistic tips
Nosler does not post a suggested COAL for their 32 grain or 40 grain ballistic tips. I've seen 2.25 for 32 grain bullets in other brands but can't find it for Nosler. I've had trouble for some reason with the Nosler site but it doesn't seem to be there. So if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, how many loads are you getting out of your .204 brass, average. Thanks

If you use the SAAMI COL of 2.220", both bullets will be over a caliber into the neck and should be secure and feed in magazines.
Nosler data includes no COL, but I expect they just figure to use that SAAMI max.

Thanks
So I should use that for both bullet weights as a starting point? I'll probably experiment with it later to find the sweet spot for this gun but I don't want to seat them too deep or too far. |

Yup. That's the one to start with for either load.

Don't know if this link will help or not, but the 204ruger.com website has a lot of information for this round. This looks to be the reference page for this great caliber. http://www.204ruger.com/204_Ruger_sierra.pdf

Thanks that's what I'll start with then. I checked 204ruger.com but they don't have it for the Nosler's. They have it for pretty much every other 204 bullet of course I'm real anxious to see what type of accuracy I can get since I've seen some guys get borderline ridiculous groups. Unfortunately, I could only find Winchester brass which is not my preference but it'll have to do.
