sks modification
Need some information: First - I've got a chinese & yugo sks and am thinking about putting a Tapco T6 on one of them. Have ordered the tapco that will accept the bayonet of the yugo. Would like opinions as to which gun I should change (intend to keep all original parts). 2nd can I use the original clip in the Tapco stock. Would appreciate your help.

If your chinese sks has pinned barrel, it may not fit well.

Sounds like you need to do some more homework. Check out the SKS and 922r compliance (there's plenty of info out there, do a search), but you'll be swapping more than just the stock.
Generally, the Chinese ones are worth more than the Yugos, so you may want to factor that one in as well. |

I had a yugo sks and put the t6 with a blade bayo and used the Tapco 20rd mags and it worked great and the stock fit nice and tight. Kind of miss that gun.
