RCBS VLD chamfering tool ?
I went to try this tool to remove military crimp but the point hits the bottom of the flash hole before the cutter hits the crimp. Is there a way to grind it down without loosing the hardness of the cutter ?

If you do what you suggest you would ruin the tool, a L.E. Wilson chamfering tool will do exactly what you want. I've used my chamfering tool to cut the crimp on some HXP cases, I didn't particularly like the cases because of weight variance and recycled them.. William
