Need a new bench rest

I am looking to buy a new bench rest and have narrowed it down to either a Hart 100 or standard and Wichita precision. Is the Hart better than the Wichita? Is the Hart standard a lot better than the Hart 100? I am going to be using it for sighting in and informal target practice. Are there any other quality options for around $130? Thanks, Mike...

Mike:

I can't comment on the Hart rests as I have never seen one outside a catalog. I bought a Wichita rest in August and couldn't be happier. It is definitely a very well made rest and at 11lbs will pretty much stay where you put it. With the right bag on it, it should be everything you need to fulfill your sighting in and informal target shooting requirements.

BTW, I bought mine through Lock, Stock & Barrel Shooting Supply for $128.30 delivered. Don't know if they still have them or if the price has changed, but you can check at www.lockstock.com

Good Luck
