Model 42 Marlin 22 LR

Came across this one, in average condition, but with no clip. Brief look around, not much to be seen about it. So, anyone have any idea of what it might be worth, and what are the odds of finding a clip? This belongs to an elderly relative, and needs to be sold.

Having had a look at the gun, it is a Coast to Coast model 42, 22 LR, and in below average condition.

That is a store-branded Marlin Model 70, and magazines are available at many sporting goods stores. It takes the same magazine as the Marlin 795 (current production model).
