Sig 1911 Grips

Does the Sig 1911 take standard 1911 grips? I picked up a Nitron and want to swap the grips out for something more traditional. Thinking some Ivory would be nice to have. Also, any good, reputable places to pick some up?

Traditional? I'm not sure. I have those on my XO. 10-8 performance. Dirty olive.

I heard something about. Esmeralda? Google Esmeralda grips.

Yup, the same grips as any other 1911.

There's any number of places to get 1911 grips; I tend to be partial to Alumagrips but a nice set of wood is very good too.

I'll recommend VZ Grips and have them on a couple of my 1911's. However, I also really like the grips that came on my Sig TacOps. They're Ergo XT's and are really inexpensive.
