Browning American Special?

My boss had an old 16 gage browning auto 5 that was his father's and was stolen several years back. He is since trying to replace it, and has enlisted my help in the search.
I think it was called the Browning American Special or Classic. It was made in the U.S., and it is possible it was made by Remington.

Any info on this shotgun would be greatly appreciated.

When the Nazi's had the FN factory and shortly afterward- 1940-1947, Browning A-5s were made by Remington and called 'American Brownings'.
