Anyone here own a CZ 75?

How is the accuracy and recoil? I am interested in looking at one but the seem very hard to find.

Do a search, and you'll get a lot of good info. I have a 75B, and 75D PCR (lightweight, alloy frame, compact), and the wonderful Kadet Kit .22 conversion. They are accurate, reliable, and feel great in the hand. I bought my first one over the net, sight unseen, and had a local FFL transfer it. That's the best way to go, as they are not easy to find sometimes.

Amazing gun. I have a CZ 75B in 40s&w. The recoil is not bad for a .40 at all. Completely reliable. As far as accuracy goes. I use it in my shooting league and I am one of the best and getting better. 6" Steel plate at 30yrds. No problem if I do my part.

The CZ feels great in the hand, is very accurate (more than most can shoot), light recoil for caliber, and just a great pistol overall.

The recoil of my 75B is quite mild even with "hot" ammo like Hirtenberger 100gr +P+ JSP or Winchester Ranger 127gr +P+ (my chosen 9mm SD load) due to the weight. Accuracy is quite good and my gun seems to prefer 124-127gr bullets. The gun is also quite comfortable in the hand and the 4.72" barrel makes the gun balance quite well (not unlike a Gov't Model 1911).

I have had my P-01 for only a short time, but all the good things said about the CZ75 design have been true for me... Accurate, comfy, reliable, soft recoiling, purty, etc... I'm in love!

Also, very easy to take apart and clean. There are other prettier pistols, but these are real workhorses.

I have both a CZ 75B and a P-01 in 9mm. Two of the finest pistols I own. Both are more accurate than I am, handle recoil beautifully, and have some of the best ergonomics I have ever seen in a handgun.

I have a few cZs and all are accurate and comfortable to shoot. Friends who have shot my cZs have not had a problem with recoil and several ended up buying one.

Love my cz75B!. Great balance, ergos, accuracy, reliability and aesthetics all rolled into one package. I'm also pretty fond of the newer polycoat finish, it's tough stuff!

Interesting! The Hirtenberger is the only load my 75B wouldn't feed reliably.

I own a 75B and a P-01. Both are impeccable and pleasant shooters. I'd expect nothing less of a pistol descended from the Sig P210.

Like everyone else, they are currently experiencing some supply chain issues at the moment. Be patient, and you'll come across one sooner or later.

If you're looking at a 75, may I humbly recommend the P01. I had a 75bd for ten years. The P01 improves everything on the older model, with only a mild increase in recoil.

I love the CZ-75 pistols, but curse my big meaty hands. That small slide is a beast for me to grab.

Not a problem with the pistol, necessarily, but try one out before you buy.

Were you using the 100gr JSP or one of Hirtenberger's other loadings such as their 124gr FMJ? The 100gr JSP ran flawlessly through my gun though, admittedly, I only shot about 30 rounds of it (I've still got the remaining 20 rounds out of the box part of which is shown in the picture I posted).

My experience with reliability is similar to yours in that the only loading that's ever given me trouble was a single round of Silver Bear 145gr JHP which had an OAL so long that it stuck in the chamber requiring the gun to be very carefully disassembled in order to remove it.

Everything else I've shot including exotic ammo like Glaser Blue, Cor-Bon 100gr Pow'R Ball, Hirtenberger 100gr JSP, Fiocchi 92gr EMB and more conventional JHP and FMJ loadings from 115gr to 158gr have all fed just fine.

It was the 100gr stuff. It double-fed twice. Given the obscurity and oddness of the load, I just shrugged it off.

A double-feed suggests an extraction problem, which can be case rim or extractor issue. Since it only seemed to happen with one type of round, you might look at the cases.
