Best 9mm range gun?

Ok, I'm curious as to which is the best 9mm range gun. My personal favorite is Glock, but I also like the Beretta 92 series. So, what's everyone else's opinion? This is just for fun, so let's keep it respectful please. Remember, it's a free country, people!

I like both the Glock and the Beretta 92fs among many others. For a range gun, the Beretta takes my vote for the much better trigger in SA mode.

Yes, I like the Glock and Beretta as well. Sigs are nice, HK's yes very nice.
Capacity is king and even more fun on reaction targets. The RIA 1911 is really mild mannered.

I too enjoy the Beretta 92 very much. Another favorite is the HK USP. Both guns are soft shooting and could go all day. An oddball pistol I like is the Daewoo with it's neat trigger. Lots of fun in these three.

I just picked up a CZ 75B SA Target as my new range gun. I've only put 50 rds through it , but those were the most accurate 50 rds I've ever fired.

If, by "best range gun in 9mm" you mean which one fits you to a tee, but is too heavy for day to day carry, then I'd say my Colt Series 70 1911 with its 5" barrel...accurate, reliable, fits beautifully, but is too big for carry and the caliber could be better housed in a smaller frame...like a Lt Colt Commander in 9mm...Series 70 of course. My CZ P01. It literally does everything I need it for...range, carry, competition, HD. My Kadet 22 slide also fits.

Beretta 92

The Beretta is the smoothest firing 9mm I've ever used. I own two Glocks and a Hi-Power and feel the Beretta is head and shoulders better for range use.

I carry a Glock, but my 92FS is my favorite range pistol, beautiful both in appearance and in function. I don't have a BHP to compare it to, but I hope to remedy that deficiency someday.

A Sig P226 is hard to beat. A Walther PPQ if you are on a budget.

To me it's a single action CZ-75B.

Heavy, all steel guns are excellent for the range or home defense, since the extra weight keeps recoil down and makes followup shots easy. No need to worry about light weight, since the pistol won't be carried for long period. Target type triggers are great too, since these increase accuracy on the range.

This one is often shot with 95 gr reloads for low recoil plinking.

Two of my favorites. One of my SIG P226s and my Walther PPQ.

I'm not a huge 1911 fan, but I'd have to say that they're clearly the dominant range pistol of today.

I fired a Baby Eagle (if I recall that's the name) in 9mm that was a pleasure to shoot once. Also agreed on the full size CZ's, reliable and accurate as well.

Would you pick a Sig p226 or Cz 75 B?
I have been toying with these two and not sure which one would be better as a range type gun.

Are the Czs more accurate?
