Chote 870 Mark 6 stock
Anybody out there using the Chote Mark 6 stock? My Brownells catalog says it holds 5 extra shells in the bottom of the stock, but the pic seems to show 6 holes, plus they call it a Mark 6, so I think its a typo, and it really does hold 6 extra shells.
If anyone is using this stock, I'd appreciate any comments pro or con. Thanks Edward. |

I've considered the stock, but there's nothing wrong with the factory one to justify the extra money. MK-6 is the correct term. Their MK-5 stock is a simple, pistol-grip stock so it makes sense.
The shells are stored vertically, not horizontally. What you see in the picture is not the shell holes but, I believe, the spacers between where the shells go.

The new Bushmaster catalog has a pretty good pic of it. 5 vertical shell holes, with adj. tension. Pretty neat piece,I think. Shame it`s so expensive. It should be just the thing for a politically incorrect riot gun. Marcus
