I would rather Ruger as well as other mfgs improve quality instead of making new stuff that is shoddy. Just sayin...................................

Trigger643 - you are a funny guy. When the Germans dropped the Ruger in favor of the Walther....
I like Ruger, but am not enamored with their new stuff.

I have wanted Ruger to make a 22LR version of the GP-100 for a long time. Now it is going to happen.

I've been on a few rants about "New Ruger" on some other posts myself. When the "old man" died, Ruger slowly but steadily drifted away from what I generally liked about their product line, (old school and pretty traditional) and has slowly but surely eliminated the rifles and handguns that I particularly liked.
I probably have more Rugers than any other single make in the safe, but none are "new" releases, and a good percentage of what I do have are out of production. And +1 to whoever mentioned tweaking the Mini30 to take AK mags. |
