I'm in the market for some muzzle brakes as well. I haven't decided either.
My cousin took the standard slant brake off of his AK style rifle and put a Z-comp on it and said it took his 7.62x39 down to feeling like a .22lr. I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but he loves it. I'm not sure if I want to spend that much for my converted Saiga because it's in .223/5.56. Probably spend no more than like $30. On my 7.62x54R I'm probably gonna spend more because that thing kicks like a mule. For an AR in standard 5.56/.223 I wouldn't really worry too much about top of the line because there is not too much rise or recoil to begin with. |

The Lantac Dragon functions very well but it's ridiculously loud for indoor shooting.
