Old school Sig

Just snagged this older Sig P226. It appears to be a early 90s (91) version with internal extractor. The seller sent me lots of detailed pictures and it looks to be in great shape. I have had many Sigs but never owned a P226, odd since that is probably their most well known model. I shot a friends a couple of weeks ago and decided that I should try to find one soon. Here are some pictures from the seller, I will post more when I actually have it in my hands. Enjoy!

Don't forget to add p226 to your "sig" block at the bottom

Very nice. I just scored two W. German sig P220's for $500 each, should be picking them up tomorrow. Not as nice as your 226 though. I wouldn't mind getting an older 226 or 229 in 9mm.

Bigghoss, I did have to pay a little more for this one. I had another one on the hook almost as nice but he didn't have the box and papers, though he was offering two mags and two holsters. It was more in line with what you paid. I was suprised at how hard it was to find one , for a decent price anyway. Thanks for looking in.

A damn fine gun. I have over 3,000 rounds down range through my P226 e2

My P220 is about the same age as your new (to you) P226. Carbon steel slide and all that.

Nice. Let us know how she shoots for you.

Constantine, you got it. I hope to have it in about a week, will put some rounds down range and see how she does.
