Smokin deal on Urika 2 at Dicks??? Should I buy???
Hello all. Yesterday I was in Dicks sporting goods for an unrelated reason and swung by the gun counter. Tucked into the corner was an AL391 Urika 2. The gun is synthetic with a blued barrel and has a nickel plated reciever. Looks a bit like the teknys wood guns with the nickel reciver. Anyhow, it says its a dick's exclusive. The gun was $1100 now is $749. I can also get another ten percent off by opening a dicks CC (pay it off in a week or so) and I have a $25 off coupon. Now that is $649 plus tax. That seems to good to pass up. I haven't had a beretta for years and it was a sporting 390. So has anyone here had any good or bad goings on with this gun?
Thanks for the help! Damo |

BUY IT!!
My AL391 Urika II runs like a Swiss watch... No complaints other it takes a little longer to clean than my older Beretta 390... |

You bet, buy it! I'm broke right now but would figure out a way to buy it. I'll quit drinking for a week. Well maybe not but I can live without electricity for a couple of months

When you consider that the walmart 3901's replacement - the 300 costs that much - BUY IT!

Ok, you have my attention with this thing. Been wanting to get down to just one solid shotgun for everything, prefer a semi auto 12 ga with synthetic stock. This sounds right up my alley. Could we see some pictures, I know dicks has those exclusive guns like the remington guns where they have the green stocks. Wondering what thing one looks like. Maybe some specs behind it.
How do you guys think it goes against benelli or maybe a remington versamax for the money? |

Alright folks. I've made the decision to buy it. I cannot afford it. But what the hell. You only live once. I will get pictures up tomorrow. -Damo

I tried to go to just 1 good gun and bought a Beretta A400, that just made me want more good guns. You really do need 3 or 4 to cover all the bases. 1 turkey gun, 1 skeet/clay gun to use upland game hunting, and 1 HD purpose gun

Looks great, looks to fit everything I wanted and more and for that kind of price I might bite the bullet before selling my others. I hope they have them in stock at my nearest store. Don't want to make the hour drive for nothing. Talking to these people on the phone is always more work than its worth, nobody ever knows what they are doing in that department.

Buzzard1: I checked the entire southwest and none. Call and talk to them. If they are like the dicks stores here most of the dedicated hunting guys are fairly sharp. At least enough to know what you are talking about!

You have dedicated hunting guys at your Dick's?
We're lucky if the person in that area has a pulse and doesn't dribble all over himself |

That does look nice with the plated receiver.
So what makes this a 1200 gun? Does it have inertia to soften it. Just a novice at shotguns and wondering because I am going to be in the market and something like your new find makes me want to go to Dick's and pick one up. |

I have found dicks gets a decent deal on those types of semi auto's once in awhile. Good catch!
