They will be fine. I have used Rainier and Berry's plated and both shoot good. The only thing with the plated bullets is you need to make sure to use very little crimp. Just get rid of the flair the expander die put in. I load them to medium jacketed data.

Thanks for the link.
Winter reloading has taken a serious bite out of my bullet supply at just the wrong time.

I think they're junk. No matter how much belling I do, there are times when the plating wrinkles upon seating. I never have problems with Berry's. But I can get FMJ bullets for the same, if not cheaper.

I recently loaded 500 rounds using 10 different powders (at various loadings) using the bullet you are asking about. I have fired them all. I keep detailed records and can send you screen shots of the loadings and results if you like. PM me with your email address if you would like them.

Overall I was surprised at the accuracy of all the different powders. Pleasantly surprised you might say. I had bought a bulk box from Midway early during the 2008 shortage. Since I buy Montana Gold jacketed for about the same price, when the box is gone I don't know if I will shoot any more.

I haven't tried 115gr but I've shot over 10k of the 124gr FP and love em - especially for indoor use. Accurate & clean with WSF powder near max load for plain lead. Only caution is do not over crimp. When you set up pull one open to confirm a light crimp, only a slight line around the bullet. I've had good luck with 185gr .45 and 125gr .38spl.
