T/C G1 or G2?
OK guys, need some help. I have asked other places and still not got a definitive answer. I purchased a 1993, SS, Super 14. Is this a regular contender or the G2? Is there a date cutoff where they switched to G2? This one has the 3 position selector for firing pin on top of hammer. I hope someone can help me out here. thanks triker

(gun empty) cock the hammer. Let it down. If you can re-cock the gun without opening the action, its a G2.

I've run into some people who refer to the easy open frames as G2's. Stubborn folks who can't be taught otherwise.
