Crimson Trace Question

Hello folks, I was out to the gun shop today and according to the guy behind the counter who seemed to know what he was talking about Crimson Trace doesn't make a laser grip for the G20 and G21, say it isn't so I've looked around and they make it for the G30 and for the 21 short frame. Any ideas why or what I can do about it?

I bought one a week ago. $168 shipped. I have a 21 sf, It came with a shim to fit the sf. the book that came with it says it will fit the 3rd gen full size 21 without the shim.

model 617 if you go to the crimson trace web sight. check the comments on this page other people have used them on a 21. if you can find a local dealer maybe they would let you try it on before you buy it.

CT lasergrip....

I'm surprised Crimsontrace does not market a Glock 21 or 20 lasergrip.
FWIW, I'd get a green dot laser aimer/white light combo for a Glock 21/20.
The large frame can hold a laser-dot/light and can be carried the same way.
You may need a special holster but it wouldn't be major problem.

My problem with all the other laser systems is that either the take time to activate and/or if they break they make the gun useless. The thing with the CTs is that it automatically comes on and if it dies big deal, it doesn't replace your sights, it doesn't replace your guide rod so that if it breaks or gets sideways your up Sh#$ creek without a paddle.

Laser-sights; CT lasergrips.....

A broken CT lasergrip will NOT keep you from firing the weapon in a critical event.
It's true that the laser dot may not always work or that the small batteries could go down but they are only a tool or aid NOT a replacement for skill training/marksmanship.
I see a lot of value in using CT lasergrips.
FWIW's a county sheriff's deputy who worked security details where I lived told me the sheriff's office SWAT unit T&Eed both Lasermax & CT laser-aimers for the issue sidearms. The sworn deputy said the unit selected the Lasermax system.
