Thanks 4sarge. That was the problem with some of them. They all have the same head stamp and will now be relegated to the trash. The others have the single hole and I'm assuming they are military brass with the crimped primers. I'll go through it all later and separete them. Not much thus far but enough to make me pause.

I just ran thru 2000 LC cases and ran across 20 or so berdan primed ones so it was fresh on my mind!
Also, the berdan cases usually would destroy my RCBS decapping pin and rod in 30-06 if I didn't catch the suspect case. I finally bought a set of LEE dies with their unbreakable decapping pin. They work well and simply push out thru the collet when met with resistance. Much better than waiting for 10 days for a replacement pin to arrive from RCBS. Also removing a stuck case from the LEE die is a non event, just tap the decap pin down. |
