125gr TNT's in a 308?

I would like to shoot these in an LTR (20") barrel. I have 2520, Varget, 748, 4895 and a few others. Please share some load that have worked for YOU and might work for me. Thanks, Keith

Hello. I've not used that bullet, but with the Hornady 130 gr Spire Point and 51.5 gr W748 in Winchester cases ignited by a Federal Match LR primer, I consistently get 3/4" groups @ 100 yards from an A-Bolt.

Best.

PS: I've killed a few deer with this load, but do not recommend it. Anything other than a broadside or neck shot would likely require too much penetration for what you get. Not really surprised. It also does quite a bit more damage than more traditional hunting loads...not good if you're planning on putting the meat in the freezer. I think this load would be a peach on coyotes, though.

I have found the 125 TNT to work very well in my rems. Just bought a box of 500. Try about 43 gr 4895 as a starting point.

I have had these up to 3200+ FPS, and they were still about 1/2 moa. If you do this, watch the presssure!
