not owning a chronograph myself, has anyone ever clocked the 5.0 gr. load of red dot in .45acp using 230 gr fmj? alliant states that this is a 910 fps load with a 5 inch bbl. sierra says 4.4 to 5.5 grs. As i want to stay around 800 fps, what has been your findings using this hardball recipe?..thanks

Sad truth: all guns are different, and the ONLY WAY to find out from your gun is to test your gun.

Fact.
Believe me LOL.
