XSE vs. XS

Question:

Can I take a slide/barrel from an XSE Colt and put it together with an XS Colt frame??? Will there be minor or major fitting required???

Any help is appreciated...

Seppeku, there may be minor fitting but it should only amount to lapping the slide to the frame. I really doubt that they are made that tightly but it's possible. George
