9MM Luger and 2400 powder?

Has anyone used 2400 in a 9mm? Just wondering here. I see 2400 for almost everything, but the 9mm, why? Burns to slow? Thanks!

Too slow is the correct answer.

2400 is for magnum pistols and some rifle applications.

Bullseye, Power Pistol, and Unique are some examples of what you want for 9mm.

There really isn't enough room inside the tiny 9mm case to make proper use of 2400 powder. I would imagine that someone has tried it, but I've never seen any published data for it.

The old Speer manuals (which had a deserved reputation for some sticky-warm loads) used to publish some warm .38 Special loads using Hercules 2400, but that case is quite a bit larger in capacity.
