POST course
Shot my first POST course the other day with my USP45. First POST course for me ever. I thought it was alot of fun, and seemed like it would be good practice (better than just blasting away at a piece of paper from one stance for an hour, which is something you see alot of folks do). What do you guys think about it? Anyone here have to shoot POST certification courses to conceal, or for qualification for those in LE?

I presume by POST you are refering to Peace Officer Standards of Training.
I've fired several courses over the years that were supposed to be POST certified courses. From the old PPC style to one that included non-hostile targets either closer or further than the hostile target. For developing basic skills a repetitive setup is just fine and allows the shooter to see improvement. Courses of fire that pose "interesting" problems are also good to keep the mind alert and prepare shooters for less than perfect situations.

That sounds a lot like the Army M9 qual course.
