Fusion 357 MAg for Whitetails
Has any one had a chance to use this ammo? I just picked up two boxes of the 158 grain 357 mag Fusion. If one believes the ads this is the best deer killing stuff out there. What is you opinion on this ammo? I hope it lives up to the hype. I start deer season this Saturday. I am using a taurus 357 mag Tracker w/ 4" ported barrel. Most (all) my shots will be under 30 yards due to the overgrowth. Hunting thick woods. Any one that has used this ammo please reply. Thanks.

I haven't used it, but the 158 gr jhp is a great deer cartridge. I personally think the fusion is overrated for handguns, due to the slower velocities. It does work well in rifles, but I personally don't see the extra expense is really gaining you any real performance. This is comming from a very avid hand loader. BUT...It doesn't mean I could be wrong. Just my opinion.
