Florida state gun regs trump local gun regs
Please read about one of the most sensible bits of legislation concerning gun ownership and use rights. This article was also in today's St Petersburg Times.

Exellent!
That needs to happen throughout the entire U.S.A. imo, perhaps even the whole world. The more responsible private gun ownership, the more intimidated criminals are, and the more intimidated the criminals the less likely they will be willing to attempt a standard rape, robbery, home invasion, etc... I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that I can not stand anyone who is afraid of gun ownership, grow a pair and get educated! It's because of Idiots like that that we have confident criminals, this type of fear is highly illogical. please consider the following: to all left wing, unknowing crime supporters. The rate of violent crime is directly correlated with gun laws. I won't post lists, stats, etc... because thousands of charts and such are available online. the data speaks for itself. these are facts not opinions. look it up libs.

Utah passed such a law some time ago. The only difference: Utah didn't institute the penalties.
...Seems like a good idea now, though. There are still some municipalities that won't repeal, or are still enforcing the local restrictions.
