loading for redfield accurange 6.5x55

Need loads for for a 6.5x55 swede with a redfield 3x9 widefield accurange.I want to use 85 gr sierra bullets for varmits ,also 129-140 gr hornady for deer. How do I load for both bullet weights to keep from changing zero of scope, and the accurange usable also?

The easiest answer is to keep the bullet weghts as close as possible, i.e. a 100 gr for varmints and a 120 gr for deer. But try out a bunch of different components, you may find you get the same point of impact with different bullet weights out to say 250 yds or 300 yds.

The accurange doesn't know the weight of your bullets. It approximates a point of impact over a range of variables. Try it and see what works.

Try Hornady 140 grs A-MAXes, they're deadly accurate with the Swede. Shot sub MOA groups today (over iron sights) using 45.0 grs N165, COL 3.025".

Do I load for same muzzle velocity? or trail and error for point of impact?
Reloader 19 at 48gr. list appx. 2815 fps with 129gr.sp hornady.I cannot find any data with Reloader 19 for the 85gr. sierra but to use 48.8gr. to 52.8 gr.(no muzzle velocities). Should I buy a chronograph for working up the loads?
