Scoped service rifle

Has anyone fire NMC under the new Scoped Service Rifle rules?
I converted an A2 upper and may have found a way to stay in the game. I always shot the M14 but eye issues have substantially reduced the ability to regulate front sight and bull. Embarassingly low scores effect ones ego particularly when you had been a decent shot. The scope is not easy to use in position but being able to see is better. Unless your seeing eye dog is a good coach.
If you're an old fart with failing eyes the new rule may give you a chance to be competitive again
