I have a Benelli M1 S90 Field that I'm am equipping for tactical use. I've gotten the 18" barrel with the ghost ring ramped front sight, and now want to get a tritium sight for it.

I've looked at the Meprolight Benelli front sight, and it has no white ring around the tritium at all! I don't know why in the world someone would engineer a night sight that offers poor visibility in the daytime.

Does anyone of a tritium front for Benelli that also has a white ring for daytime visibility?

I'm also wondering if an AR-15 front sight would work. The Benelli just has a raised ramp with a hole in it, and you attach the threaded portion to a nut on the bottom of the ramp. Could an AR-15 front sight work if a nut was added?

Appreciate any information on this.
Good Shooting, Coy Dog

The web site does not say, but you may want to drop a line to MMC and see if their tritium front sights for the shotguns have white outlines.

Isn't the idea to use the silhouette of the front sight in the daytime, the same as pistols? My meprolights on the M1S90T work great!
