Uberti 62 Police
Alright guys I'm in the market for a Uberti 62 colt police with a 6 1/2 barrel. Where's a good place with good service to buy one. I was thinking about Taylor's & Co? Any other places?

The Possible Shop, Midway, and Dixie. Order the Treso nipples with it and do something with the loading lever catch immediatly. They are nice little guns.

Texas Jack's has it for an online price of $288.00 + shipping, but charges a $50 re-stocking fee for returns other than repairs.
http://www.texasjacks.com/BlkPowder/...olPocket-6.htm http://www.texasjacks.com/BlkPowder/TJ-BlkPowder3.htm Buffalo Arms also lists the standard blue 1862 Police as being in stock for $304.03 + shipping, but charges a 15% restocking fee on returns. http://www.buffaloarms.com/Firearms_...aspx?TERM=1862 http://www.buffaloarms.com/ Midway USA has it for $309.99 and they accept returns if unfired, or else it would need to be returned to Uberti. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/875...-2-blue-barrel Last edited by arcticap; October 7, 2012 at 04:18 PM. |

Does the Texas jacks model have a cheaper price because of a cheaper fit/finish.

No... they are the retailer for Cimmaron. It's prett well established that current Uberti offerings thru Taylors, Cimmaron, and Stoeger are all built and finished the same. Have had all and can not tell the difference.
These are scarce now, so buy where you can find 'em. Willie . |

Quote:
And the distributors may only order several times per year due to the cost of shipping a volume of guns and the lengthy amount of time involved for them to be received from Italy. If sales of some Uberti C&B models are slow in the U.S., then the distributors may not want too many leftover guns sitting on their shelves for a long period of time since that would tie up their money in inventory. And Uberti makes so many different model and variations. The 1862 Police were scarce for a while but now seem to be back in stock in greater numbers. No one really knows for how long or all of the reasons why. However it seems to be cyclical based on ordering, production and demand. Last edited by arcticap; October 8, 2012 at 09:30 AM. |
