Decided to give it a try ...
Hello all,
I have been lurking around gathering information about reloading and decided to give it a try, many of you provided great information that helped in making my decision. I had decided on the RCBS Master Reloading Starter Kit,but then spoke to my uncle, a long time reloader, he had packed away his tools, he offered to sell me some of his old equipment. I was wondering if anyone would have any comment or opinions on some of this equipment since some of it has been around for ahwile. I had never heard of C&H before my uncle sat the press on the table. I will be reloading for 308 Win. This is what I picked up from my uncle for $100. C&H "H" Type Press w/priming tool and case holder (308) C&H Case Trimmer (hand crank) C&H Die Set (35 Rem) w/Wilson case gauge RCBS FL Die Set (308 Win) w/Forrester-Appelt case gauge RCBS Case Holder (this seems to take differnet case holders that just clip in) C&H Primer Crimp Swager Redding Powder Scale (325 gr capacity with hydraulic dampening) Lyman Ideal Powder Measure No. 55 Lee Powedr Measure Kit (13 scoops and slide chart) 2 - wooden case blocks The boxs of some of these look older than I am, but all equipment looks in great shape. Couldn't pass it up for $100 to get started. |
