Mini 14 parts

I have a series 180 made in 75-76 and need a rear sight assembly, it has a scope rail but I want iron sites, they have a complete rear site assembly on gunbroker but it is for a 181 series. Will that sight work on my 180? I like the way it looks but If I can't find a sight, I will probably just trade it for a newer ranch rifle. It has the wood upper and lower handguard with a folding steel stock, I believe its a discontinued Choate. If you have any suggestions let me know....thanks
