I have one of CD's semi-auto 12 gauges. Specs are the same as this one, 28 inch vent rib barrel, 3" chamber. It's nice. The action is basically a gas-driven pump. Easy to strip down for cleaning. The only part that's easy to lose when cleaning is the rubber O-ring seal, and that's replaceable from the hardware store. A nice gun overall.

BigJim - that's not as far fetched as it sounds - for less than 600 you have a semi with spare parts to use as a loaner, or cut one down and leave the other regular size..........

I agree OneOunce ... ( but a good engineer like Zippy / would probably just make his own replacement parts ..)

I have enough shotguns ... / but if I had a group of cub scouts or something I was teaching .. I'd pick up half a dozen of these if I could ...

Hope the firing pin hits harder than the one I had

Nothing like drawing a bead on a nice deer or turkey and hearing "ping" instead of "bang".....

I have a charles daly and I love it for goose hunting, when using them 3 1/2's.
I bet a field hunter would be a good addition to my collection haha.

Tape one on top of the other and you would have a ten shot O/U.

And it would STILL handle better than the Chinese and Turkish imports.
