What to buy next?
Man you guys should have warned me, this crap is addicting! So I am already working on another Sig if my Unit does the program with Sig during our deployment. But im already looking again lol. Im looking at .40 and .45. Im not brand loyal to anything, just want a good product. Im open to any good recommendations. Something multi purpose for range, HD, or possible carry. I really think if I go .45 it will be a 1911, but if their is a better .45 option Im open to that as well. Thanks in advance guys and for all the advice previously as well.

I thought I *DID* warn you! Haha... Firearms are like tattoos and Pringles. It's hard to stop at one.
Lots of great .40s out there. Low bore and well executed recoil springs are more valuable in this chambering. As much as I love the PPQ 9, I dislike it in .40, for example. Sig 229 in .40 is... Wow. Awesome.

Get an old S&W auto. Get a 645 or a 4506. Everyone needs a good SS S&W in their collection.

Addicting - YES
I thought I would pick up a few and now I have a safe full, getting another add on pistol safe and reloading 1k 9mm ammo! And my wife told me I could get ONE. Ha. Sig is now next on my list since I just put a deposit on a S&W Shield 9mm! Good luck not buying a truck load of guns! |

for 45 carry, you'd be hard pressed to beat the new sa xds.
for a good range 45, it's hard to beat a 1911. for home defense, you can't beat an sa xdm 45 or fn fnp45.

I'm a huge P226 fan. In 40, you can get semi-drop-in barrels for 357SIG and 9 with just a spring change. Plus 22 conversion is an option. But if you don't own a 1911, you should. In my case, again a SIG, the STX.
Yes, addictive. Damn things

I'm not into the .40 so normally I'd say just get a .45 but it seems .40 is the only thing you can get ammo for anymore.

What you need, good sir, is a 1911. A gun collection without a 1911 is like a car collection without a 70's (or a 1969 stingray ) muscle car.

If your looking for a 1911 I just had the recent pleasure to be apart of a T and E a sig scorpion and all I gotta say is WOW. It is beautiful and shoots great. The squared off trigger took me a little to get used to but other than that it was wonderful. Great trigger pull weight and take up, smooth as butter action, and amazing night sights. It fired everything that was thrown into it from lead to jackets and reloads to factory. I didn't have any issues with no initial cleaning and over 500 rounds with no cleaning.
