Bob, I too am just getting back into shooting after 20 years. I gave away my reloading equipment about 10 years ago and I am currently trying to decide what reloading equipment to buy. I started reloading in 1972. I bought a Lee hand loader, 100 .30 cal. Nosler bullets, 100 CCI primers, and a pound of H4831 powder for well under $20. Things have changed.

Read, read, read! Take your time and be constant. Chronograph is one of my favorite pieces. You will be able to cross refrance to the balistic charts to really get an idea on trajectory. Keep great records for each load. Every variation will show on the target. Also if you really want to know how your groups are use a rest, I shoot out of Hyskore Ultimate site rest.

Hey Carl, almost the same here. I started reloading in '74 and began with a Lee Target model hand loader in .308Win., a hundred Sierra bullets, a pound of IMR4064, and 100 #200 CCI primers and it didn't cost jack.
