I'd love to find a Shield 9 @ a normal price. I'm not going to pay $600 for one, though. If I find a deal before the XDs 9 comes out, I'll but it. After that, I'm not sure which I'll get.
Update: Found one for $429. Now to decide what will be next...... |

In a post on this thread on May 9, I said I wanted to buy a 1962 Walther P38 that a local gunshop/pawn broker was selling for $375.
However, this afternoon I visited a different local gun dealer who was selling a used Beretta PX4 Storm Compact for $379. I just could not resist buying that gun for that price!

Like Mike19 above me, I'll update my "want" that I posted about on May 2. I made my first online gun purchase the other day off Gun Broker, and I'm currently awaiting my FNXf45 to arrive! Can't wait!
Next purchase? Not for sure, a 1911 maybe. Got two mags for a 1911 sitting a drawer doing nothing right now, lol. |

A S&W 539, or 3906. LNIB with all the tools, magazines, and paper work for a reasonable price. I'd really like an all steel single stack DA/SA full sized 9mm pistol just for some range fun shooting.

Fathers Day
I am really hoping to be able to purchase a handgun for Fathers Day. I am being real good at home, I have been working my butt off on honey do projects.
If all goes well, I would like to get a Uberti or a Cimarron 45Colt Single Action. I have been looking at them for quite a while. Let you know how it works out, I have to go trim the palm trees right now. Jay |

I'm a glock guy..... but.....
S&W M&P 40 full size. Which will not shoot a single round until an apex trigger is installed. (Can you tell I handled one today?) |

Ok so I just picked up my 9mm shield!!!! Yeah. Nice. I'll review in another post.
Now what. I thinking .45 as have so many nines. New p227? The new sig .45 1911- Turkish or Ruger sr1911-they actually had two when I picked up s&w. xdm-5.25 with s.s. slide I have handled xdm and ruger and like both but have always wanted sig ( at least the 226) Should I wait for that to come out? |

I may have bitten off more than I should with the layaways, but I was in an impulsive mood.
The CX4 9mm is on layaway at Bud's, and I'm going to get that one as I'll have to eat a 20% loss if I change my mind. The only other 9 in the house belongs to my wife, so I figure I have some room there. The other, I'm really debating, as my gun frenzy has really cooled off in the wake of The Great Ammo Shortage of 2013. But, probably the same day I got my last gun, I, again, on impulse, put on layaway at my LGS an HK45c. I'm in the process of selling my SR1911, since a friend expressed more interest than I have in it. I figure the HK would fill the void left by the SR. However, I'm prepared for that sale to fall through. In that case, if I cancel the layaway it appears there would only be a $50 charge. I think I could afford to eat that, keep the SR1911, and stop spending! Layaway has given me time to think about all the other things I could be doing with that money and how little I do with the guns I have purchased. |

I'm really liking the SIG 1911 line, just can't decide which one. I need to let my CC cool off after my last purchase though. But I've always wanted a SA .45 and I seem to be finding a little more reloading supplies available for that caliber too. The bullets must go too slow for most folks
There...I think I justified the purchase (in my mind anyway!) |
