I'm looking for a high riding western holster for a Colt
4.5" barrel length.

I've seen these around, sometimes referred to as the
Duke's type, since he used that one.

Howdy,

There are several places to get Duke style holsters, but my favorite is San Pedro Saddlery.

Often running specials on their Duke rigs is: http://www.epsaddlery.com
One of our cowboys, Capt. Apache has an El Paso Saddlery "Duke" rig and it is N-I-C-E.

Thanks guys, I'll take a look.

I have a Colt replica that will fit nicely.

Hey Gus, usually what I do is ask them to make it to fit the frame of a Ruger Vaquero. They are just a tad bigger. A Colt will slide farther down into the holster and not hurt it. While, if, if.... you should ever change guns, a Vaquero will fit in quite nicely instead of being forced in. Just my 2 cents on how I order my gun leather. Never know when you might decide to shoot something different and the gun leather will fit either.
