Is ultrasonic BETTER than Tumbling/vibratory cleaning?

I read the link you provided, Unclenick, and I do agree that I would NEVER run brass through a sizing die that hasn't been cleaned. (Reading the post you linked, he DID run brass from rifle to press without cleaning at all in his testing.)

Does the VIBRATORY cleaner NOT clean well enough to prevent carbon scoring? I know we would all assume cleaner is better, but how clean is clean enough?

Im no expert on it (obviously) but from what I have read and been told that on rifle cases (bottle neck cases) it doesnt clean the inside much at all. Pistol cases is a different story.

That Harbor Freight model.....is it big enough to hold a 1911 slide? How about the 1911 frame?

If you're referring to the one in my pics, then yes to both questions. The bowl is 9-½ X 6 X 3 inches, so my whole 45 1911 fits in there all at once.

Used in conjunction with the shooter choice Aqua Clean, it strips every bit of grease, oil and other grunge from every nook and cranny.

They're going to get their butts kicked over there this election. How come people can't spell and use words correctly?

And from whom do we get that?
I'm liking the idea of dropping my 1911 into an UC bath when I want to get it well clean.

Durnit, I thought I had it listed in my original post!

Anyway here's where I got mine, not cheap, but you can dilute it 3-1, it still cleans to beat the band!
