MIDSOUTH Varmint Nightmare X-Treme
Has anyone used these bullets in an AR 15 ?
Did you like them, how accurate are they ? |

That's the JHP bullet, right? I've loaded 600-650 rounds of the regular 55gr lead tips, and they've really done well for me- MUCH better than I expected. I seat them to magazine length, Win small rifle primers, Prvi Partisan brass, and 26.5gr Varget. Seems to be, or very close to, the Monarch (Prvi Partisan) factory 55gr loads. I haven't chrono'd them, but I do get good accuracy, seldom see a flyer, and they do pretty darn well on pasture poodles out to 350yds.
