Knight rolling block ???

I just bought a knight rolling block with a bushnell banner 1-5 powered scope 300 grains of triple seven loose powder and 300gr. hordany xtp mag hollow point bullets.What is any feedback on these guns??? thanks !

Strongly suggest you go to the Knight web site and download the instruction manual for your rifle. Read It!!!! Nowhere do they list any load over 150 grains in any rifle.

A 300 grain powder load is foolish in any of those rifle's. That equalls 11 drams of powder!!

Did you say 300grns. of triple seven loose powder. Can you say KABOOM? I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST you not only read manual for the Knight but also read the loading equivalence`s of triple seven to other powders .A magnum charge of 150grns. of say American Pioneer =`s 120 grns` of Triple Seven. Triple Seven`s a much hotter powder. 300 grns. of anything is to much powder. Just want to keep reading your posts on TFL.

Again jaymag, check the load chart for the Triple Seven. 120grns. of T/S =`s 150grns. of other powders.

I did not no that triple seven is that much of a hotter load.I was only using 2 50gr. triple seven pellets out of my older c.v.a buckhorn magnum.But does anyone have any feedback on this new knight I bought.They claim to be the most accurate in inline compition shootings.

Jaymag, you originally posted useing loose powder. Pellets are measured for you. Careful when you measure T/S loose powder.

I said, I WAS using pellets. I know they are messured for you with pellets.I have been shoooting plack powder for 10+ years now.Just looking for somone that shot this gun.?
