IWB Mag Holders?
This might be a dumb question, but are there any IWB mag holders out there? I haven't found any through cursury searching, but I'm not that much of an "old hand" either. Any help?

Yes.
They're offered by Bianchi, Galco, and others. |

FYI, I have one made by Bianchi. I don't know how well they work with single-stack mags, but I find it to be very uncomfortable with a double stack. Like having someone poke me in the side with a stick all day long....

I find the IWB mag holders so uncomfortable that I no longer wear one. As strange as it seems, the mag is more uncomfortable than the gun.

I have alkso found IWB mag holders to be very uncomfortable. I don't have much spare meat, but the mag digs in far more than any pistol will. If you have any kind of tire it will be much worse.
The problem is that if you have the belt tight enough to stabilize the weapon, it will put too much pressure on the mag's relatively small surface. |

One of the problems is the design of the IWB mag pouches. Most makers throw them together without thinking about the best way to design them. Try Nossar IWB mag pouches. Unfortunately, he has no web site that I know of and is in Peru. I got mine through Ned Christiansen of Michiguns and it is the sweetest IWB going. It's so comfortable that I can't feel it. It's for a single-column magazine, though, so it's going to be a little more comfortable. I've tried the Sparks IWB mag pouch for double-column magazines and it's pretty poor. Won't use it again.

That might be the key- two in a single stack configuration has more surface area- must be better than a single/single.

Magazine holders
I use a $10.00 leather Knife holder with a flap. This is outside the waist band and it shows. With so many people wearing cell phones, pagers, and pocket knives in these holders. No one gives a second thought.
Works for me, Gordon
