38 spl wc

i have reloaded all the 38 bullets in many styles but the wc bullets are giving me greif. the casings seem to bulge. im not using that much of a roll crimp.

Do they fit in the gun. If they do, no worries. You may resize them if too big.

Where is the bulge? If it is at the case mouth, then it is due to your crimp. I use a taper crimp on wadcutter bullets, adn that definitely won't bulge the case.

If the bulge is down near the base of the bullet, it is due to the cae wall getting thicker down there. The cases used for .38 Specials vary a lot in their internal dimensions. The ones that are used for factroy wadcutter loads often have thinner walls down near the web to keep the cae from bulging with deep-seated bullets like wadcutters. On the other hand, cases intended for +P loads and especially shortened .357 Magnum cases will have trouble with wadcutters (although wadcutters work OK in .357 Magnum cases that are at the standard .357 Magnum length).
