new stock on 1100, wont feed.
I fitted a new stock on my remington 1100, I got the stock from gunstocks inc and tried finishing it up myself. Everytime it shoot it with the new forstock on it jams. It stops just before the chamber closes with the new shell. If i put the old sythenic stock on it it works flawlessly. I cannot feel anything hanging up when i rack the chamber my hand. I have noticed that the vents on the sides of the stock are smaller than the other stocks i have, could this be the problem? Is there a certain size they should be? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like an internal clearance issue..... Install the new forearm and hand cycle the gun numerous times and then look inside the forearm to see where it's rubbing. Relieve accordingly.....

Well I finaly figured it out. The hole in the forend isnt drilled right, so its putting pressure on the mag tube, and causing it to bind up.
