After reading The post from "Bald1" below, a question came to mind. Is there a computer program out there that will allow you to input information and come up with a load for your gun. For example, giving it your barrel length and the velocity you want along with the type of bullet you are using. It will give you, the powder charges from each manufacturer plus or minus 50 fps. to achieve the velocity you want.

I know putting together this type of program would be a nightmare. I just can't believe someone hasn't tried it yet.

Fisher, Not enough data to extrapolate from and way too many variables. There are some programs out there but the final product is always tuned to the product liability output.
I've purchased and downloaded more than a few
reloading programs and while useful and interesting they will not give you the answers you ask.
Good and safe Shooting! Hank
