Who makes a good lens cover?
Anyone know of a good type of lens cover that stays put, flips up properly, is see through, and is Not bulky? ... I'm only asking for the world here But I would like to keep the glass on my bushnell 6500 4.5-30X50 in prestine condition and I go through some nasty terrain in the run of a hunt.

The inside of the front bell on my scope has threading that very conveniently is the same as the standard 35mm camera lens threads.
Right now I have a UV Haze filter on it just to protect the glass. I may pick up a polarizer to put on it instead. I don't really care so much if the filter gets scratched, although I do my best to keep it clean, but if it were to it would just be a matter of getting another one. Not sure for the eyebox though. |

It may be that diameter is the problem here look at the spec for the scope. (4.5-30X50) Butler Creek "Blizzard" might work it's a flip up, & is see through but I don't have a maximum size handy. Regular Butler creeks go up to 2.725" (69.2mm) dia. though. |

Nice, I have them on all my scopes but still not see through. The Butler Creek Blizzards are see through, which is why I suggested them they are basically Butler Creek flip ups + see through as well. Info here: http://www.butlercreek.com/products/..._blizzard.html |
